Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall project objectives focusing on managing the engineering activities, development planning, validation cycles and delivery of medium to high complex engineering projects.

1. Tracking the issue and feature deliver management.
2. Ensure project standards are met and maintained by actively synchronizing with all teams.
3. Maintain project documentations and other related administrative duties.
4. Prepare the project status report
5. Utilize project management tools, update project schedules based on project team/project manager input.
6. Conduct internal formal reviews to ensure project deliverables meet customer requirements.
7. Communicate technical aspects of a project effectively to cross-functional teams.
8. Breakdown activities, set timeline, assign and ensure objectives are met and delivered on-time.
9. Develop the FWSW release plans and manage the execution of projects.
10.Utilize project management tools, update project schedules based on project team/project manager input, and update project financial information for tracking cost relative to schedule.
11. Present executable solutions and continuously improve.
12. Assist in analyzing risks, blockers and opportunities to ensure smooth project transition.
13, SOW review and initialization.
14. Maintain the 3rd parties relationship and initial for new vendors.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
• Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include Engineering Manager or Group Lead
• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Full knowledge of project management principles, fundamentals, and knowledge areas.
- Experienced with key project management tools (ie. Microsoft Project) and requirements management tools.
- Manage projects in a stage-gate process. (EVT/DVT/PVT)
- Awareness of industry or specific sector, regulatory standards.
- Proficient in facilitating meetings.

Extra SKILLS is plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile practices.
- Good understanding of product development and manufacturing processes including test validation.
- Basic technical background to recognize, assess and communicate cross-functional issues and risks.

Requirements

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in English. Must be capable of scoring >6.5 on the IELTS scale (or equivalent result in other assessment tools) for English language skills.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Influence others and share best practices.
- Effectively communicate with good understanding of English and local language.
- Understand and meet customer needs and expectations.
- Work as part of a global team.
- Could smoothly to co-work with cross function team
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Education and Experience Requirements
- 3+ years related project management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- With FW&SW management experience required
- With Server or Embedded product experience preferred.
- With Server or Embedded R&D experience preferred

Required Certifications, Registrations or Licensure:
Industry and/or government certification will be nice. (e.g., PMP, Professional Engineer) preferred
