ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support a cross-functional design engineering team for project planning and execution
• Develop solutions from concept to finish product for Jabil’s customers
• Create and review design specifications and other technical documentation
• Design and integrate low-level drivers, abstraction layers, applications, and other software components for embedded systems
• Perform board bring-up, hardware/software debugging, and troubleshooting
• Design test setups and utilities to evaluate system performance
• Ensure timely delivery for all project milestones while following Jabil’s design quality process
• Conduct technical discussions with customers, business units, and project teams
• Desire to work both independently and within a team in a demanding environment on complex projects.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Expert of developing software using C/C++ and Python.
• Demonstrable experience of working with embedded Linux and BSP customization.
• Hand-on experience of developing low-level peripheral drivers for MCU and high-performance SoC platforms.
• Familiarity with digital and analog interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, …etc.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
• Experience with Free/Zephyr RTOS development is desired.
• Experience of developing on Nordic/Cypress/Realtek/Qualcomm/NXP SoC or MCU is a big plus.
• Experience of developing solution for the IoT system is a big plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• 5+ years experience in embedded software design or other key competency.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
