Job Description:

The Senior Engineer of Automated QA will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and solutions to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, to identify areas of improvement, propose solutions, and drive their implementation.

Responsibilities:

-Develop, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks and solutions.

Collaborate closely with product and development teams to understand product vision and requirements.

-Ensure that all automated tests are integrated and execute reliably in the CI/CD pipeline.

-Identify, record, and document thoroughly bugs or performance issues.

-Define, measure, and track quality metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.

-Drive the evolution of testing strategies, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

-A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a focus on automation.

-Proficiency with one or more automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

-Proven experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or similar.

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating testing into these processes.

-Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

-Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.

-Exceptional attention to detail.

-Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly express technical concepts to non--technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Experience with performance and/or security testing.

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
